Beef

Shape the ground beef by hand into burger patties (about 4–6 from 500 g).
If using optional ingredients, season the outside or mix them lightly into the beef by hand (do not overwork).
Pan-fry or grill the patties about 4–5 minutes per side (longer for thick patties) and cook until internal temperature reaches at least 160°F.
Let the cooked patties rest for several minutes to let the juices settle.
Assemble each burger: place patty on a bun and add optional relish, pickles, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, ranch dressing, cheese and vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onion).
