Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Combine the sweet rice flour, xanthan gum, baking powder, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl.
Cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light.
Add the eggs and vanilla to the creamed mixture and mix to combine.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon.
Fold the chocolate chips into the dough.
Line a cookie sheet with a silicone mat and portion the dough into balls about 1½ inches (4 cm) in diameter.
Chill the cookie dough in the refrigerator for 30–40 minutes or the freezer for 10–20 minutes.
Bake the cookies until golden brown.
